Alumnus Wins Library Caption Contest!

January 05, 2011

The Westminster Library is pleased to announce that Rev. Craig Combs, (MAR '85, MDiv '86) won the ATLA Theological Libraries Month Cartoon Contest. His winning entries can be seen here.

Craig was surprised and delighted to learn that both of his entries in the ATLA (American Theological Library Association) cartoon contest had both been selected winners.  But the best part was the $200 prize.  Craig said, "It's expensive traveling from Northern Vermont to Philadelphia.  That prize money was one of the main reasons I was able to afford another trip down to work in the Montgomery Library."

Craig  has a dual ministry.  He is the Senior Associate Pastor of Christ Memorial Church in Williston, VT, and is also the Preaching Mentor for the NETS Institute for Church Planting, a two-year residency training program that is planting gospel-driven churches in New England and abroad.  To enhance his mentoring ministry Craig is in pursuit of the Doctor of Ministry degree from Westminster.
