Interested in Church Planting?

March 16, 2009

Rev. Dr. Al Dayhoff, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church (PCA) asked the Westminster students at chapel on Wednesday to consider church planting.  Anyone interested may join them at Grace Fellowship, 25350 Poland Road, Chantilly, VA, on March 19th from 10:00 - 2:00 PM.  Pastor Dayhoff shared his church planting experience, "We knocked on neighborhood doors, inviting people to our home for a Bible study, and then to our first worship services at Lees Corner Elementary School. God has blessed us with many wonderful people who have enriched our church with their skills, heart for ministry and personal commitment to God."

Grace Fellowship Church was officially organized in 1993. We began with my wife, Deb, and I moving to the area and praying that God would begin to call together a group of people who sought to build a community that served and worshipped God.

We knocked on neighborhood doors, inviting people to our home for a bible study, and then to our first worship services at Lees Corner Elementary School. God has blessed us with many wonderful people who have enriched our church with their skills, heart for ministry, and personal commitment to God.

We exist to bring about change in people's lives; change that translates to people their hope and faith in Jesus Christ, and by building an environment that encourages people to investigate and grow in their own personal faith. We are a church that is growing and building a ministry through the dedicated efforts of our people.

Our vision is to build a community of people who seek the presence of God in their lives. If you do not have a church home in our community, let me extend an invitation to come and worship with us this next Sunday morning. May the Lord bless you in real and special ways,
