Preaching Conference

Registration is now open

Dr. R. Kent Hughes will be the plenary speaker for the 2014 Preaching Conference, which will be held on October 21 and 22. Dr. Hughes will be speaking on the subject of "The Essentials of Biblical Exposition." He will also be joined by the Mortification of Spin team, Carl Trueman, Todd Pruitt, and Aimee Byrd, for a panel discussion.

When you read blogs these days people really seem to like lists (6 reasons for this or 3 ways to do that). This reminds us that we are all interested in the essentials of a subject or a task. We are excited that in this year’s conference Dr. R. Kent Hughes will be leading us in a study of The Essentials of Biblical Exposition.  Also this year we are changing up our Wednesday afternoon schedule as we have invited the Mortification Of Spin Team (Dr. Carl Trueman, Rev. Todd Pruitt, and Aimee Bryd) who will join Dr. Hughes in a wide-ranging discussion of relevant issues related to the joys and challenges of preaching. We look forward to seeing you!
