Science and Faith Recap

On April 5 & 6, Westminster Seminary, in partnership with the Discovery Institute, and sponsored by Pensmore Foundation, hosted the 4^th Westminster Conference on Science and Faith at Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills, PA. This year’s conference focused on the question how did it all begin?  

With roughly 800 people in attendance, it was our largest conference to date!  Attendees heard from world renowned scientist and Oxford University professor Dr. John Lennox, who delivered fascinating talks on “The Origin of the Universe” and “The Origin of Life.”  Other speakers covered topics from Darwinism and cell signature, to defending the faith and bioethics.  Westminster’s own Dr. Vern Poythress, Dr. K. Scott Oliphint, and Dr. Peter Lillback were among the speakers who lectured.  Discovery Institute’s Dr. Stephen Meyer also delivered a powerful session, titled “Darwin’s Doubt: The Cambrian Explosion and Evidence for Intelligent Design.”
