84th Commencement

Congratulations, class of 2013!


On May 23rd, Westminster will celebrate its 84th commencement. Lord-willing, 106 students will graduate and move on to many ministry fields: pastoring, counseling, campus ministry, teaching, continued education, and more. The commencement ceremonies will be held at Calvary Church of Souderton at 2pm on May 23.  Please join us to celebrate these graduates!

This year, the reverends Rensselaer Broekhuizen and Paul Settle will be receiving honorary doctorates from Westminster.  Rev. Settle will give the commencement seminar at 10am, and Rev. Broekhuizen will speak at commencement. See below for full details.

Retired Pastor of Ridge Point Community Church, Holland, Michigan
Brief biography of Rev. Rensselaer Owen Broekhuizen (BDiv '61):

  • Served congregations of the Christian Reformed Church in Florida, Pennsylvania and Michigan as well as a world missionary in Liberia, West Africa.
  • In 1993, was part of a group that founded Ridge Point Community Church in Holland, Michigan. The church was designed intentionally to reach people who have no interest in the church.
  • Retired from the active congregational ministry in 2003.
