Bible Software Week

February 24, 2013

Overview and Training Sessions

The Center for Theological Writing (CTW) is hosting Bible Software Week from February 25 to March 5, showcasing the three major Bible software programs: BibleWorks, Accordance, and Logos. Representatives from these companies will be on campus to demonstrate their software to students.

During lunch (1-2pm) on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, a representative will give an overview of his software. Participants in the evening seminars (6-9pm) will be trained to use Logos (Monday) and BibleWorks (Tuesday). These evening seminars are free and open to the public. Accordance is offering a full-day, free training seminar on Saturday (9am-6pm), but registration is required. The following Tuesday, CTW tech expert David Landow will lead a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of each program for particular purposes.
