Over 30 pints of blood donated!

The Westminster Student Association hosted its 2012 Spring Semester blood drive on Wednesday April 11th.  This year was a record year for Westminster at the blood drive, with 50 people donating blood! Lucinda Newbill, MAR student, led sign-ups, and she says,

April 11th was a very successful Blood Drive. We reached our goal of about 50 sign-ups and walk-ins, thanks to everyone who participated! The Red Cross hoped to collect about 30 pints of blood, and we ended up collecting 32 pints by the end of the day. Many thanks to everyone who participated; students, staff, and faculty. Even if you could not give, any and all positive support was greatly appreciated. Next semester, let's work to do even better!
