The list below represents a sampling of scholarships for which seminary students may by eligible. We also encourage students to search the web, where additional sources of aid may be found. 

An (*) by scholarship name denotes scholarships for which Westminster students have successfully applied.

 Korean American Scholarship Foundation Scholarship for Descendants of American Korean War Veterans
Deadline: July 10
Application Availability: April
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be a direct descendant of a Korean-War Veteran who served in Korea from June 25, 1950 - January 31, 1955 and must be enrolled full-time in a school located in the KASF Eastern Region: DC, DE, KY, MD, NC, PA, VA, & WV.

Louisville Institute Theological Education Fellowships:
1. Dissertation Fellowships
February 1
Award: $22,000
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be candidates for the Ph.D. or Th.D. degree who have fulfilled all pre-dissertation requirements, including approval of the dissertation proposal, by February 1 of the award year and expect to complete the dissertation by the end of the following academic year. The Fellowships are intended to support the final year of dissertation writing.

2. Doctoral Fellowships
March 1
Award: $2,000/year for 2 years
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be Ph.D. or Th.D. students, currently in their first or second year of doctoral study in an accredited graduate program.  They should have a commitment to the Christian church and theological education and be preparing for a career in theological school teaching.

*Military Chaplain Association
Deadline: May 15
The Military Chaplain Association seeks to help by providing scholarships for seminary students who intend to pursue a career as a military chaplain.
Eligibility Criteria: Full time student in an accredited seminary. Currently approved and serving as a chaplain candidate in one of the Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, or Navy).
