June 25, 2009

Following a unanimous vote by both the Westminster faculty and the board of trustees, Dr. Gregory K. Beale will be moving to Philadelphia to join the Westminster Theological Seminary faculty on July 1. 2010.

A world-renowned author, Dr. Beale has published in both scholarly and evangelical publications worldwide.  After three decades of teaching at Grove City College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Wheaton College, in coming to Westminster, Dr. Beale is making what he hopes to be his final professional transition.

In a video interview with Dr. David Garner (Vice President for Advancement and Associate Professor of Systematic Theology) and Dr. Carl Trueman (Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of Church History and Historical Theology), Dr. Beale describes the key influences on his theological thought, and why joining Westminster and its rich theological tradition is truly coming “home” for him.
