Alumni Chapters

What is an Alumni Chapter?

In an effort to accomplish our mission of building relationships, staying connected and sharing resources with our alumni worldwide, we are establishing regional alumni chapters.

How do we hope to achieve this?

As evidenced by the Common Ground dinners, this is best achieved by fellowshiping and encouraging one another through periodic gatherings, whether formal or informal, on your own initiative in order to partner together in whatever God is doing through you and other local alumni.  For example, if a Westminster professor is preaching or teaching in your area, this gives you the platform to make the most of the occasion. If you want to provide ministry teaching or training, you can help organize and we will bring the professors to you.

How much time does this require?

You set the agenda. Therefore, whether you want to dedicate a few hours weekly or monthly is entirely up to you. Bottom line, we want you to expose your church community to Westminster and vice versa.

Why are we motivated to do this?

Westminster is characterized by One Christ and the rich diversity of Christ's body. Keeping this unity in diversity ever before us, the new  Westminster Alumni Association is one organization with many faces. We have regional groups and ethnic groups to serve you.
